BUILDING A SAFER SAN DIEGO
SDIPP is committed to reducing preventable injuries and promoting safer environments for individuals and families across the San Diego area. Through our various programs and initiatives, we aim to increase the use of evidence-based strategies for injury prevention in all areas, from adolescent sports to fall prevention classes at senior residential homes.

Health Literacy Presentations
Educate students in San Diego schools on the importance of injury prevention
Health Fairs
Provide helpful resources for local communities, promoting health and wellness
Fall Prevention Classes
Lead fitness, mobility, and tai chi classes for residents of nursing homes.
Community Outreach
Promote health programs by distributing informational materials and engaging with local residents to increase awareness and participation.
Collaboration
Work with professionals from various hospitals and health groups to coordinate initiatives, share resources, and support efforts that improve public health outcomes.
